DVBT Radio

Can't get DVBT to work through XBMC. I posted about this a few months ago, but at the time it didn't always work directly in NPVR either, but with the latest NPVR update this seems to have changed

Just tried again with XBMC but this still doesn't connect to the radio. I can see NPVR recording the stream, but XBMC just hangs with it's 'working' popup.

No change for me since the last thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...io-working since it is still working.

Have you posted on the xbmc forum, it likely is not a NextPVR problem. Don't expect much help on streaming issues though.

Solved (ish). Have moved all the XBMC clients to Linux based platforms and the radio works fine now.

Was a solution ever found for this problem? I have the same issue running npvr on a windows 8.1 htpc with a pinnacle dvb-t2 tuner - xbmc from client pc's will play tv perfectly but if you attempt to play a radio station via the 'radio Channels' part of the epg it will just cycle between waiting and no tuner available.

Ok got this working now by updating xbmc to 13.2 beta 2 and disabling timeshifting on the plugin. Not a perfect solution as timeshifting is useful however it does seem to be the only combination of settings to get live radio to work. Not sure why timeshifting only caused the problem with live radio and NOT live tv - live tv was fine with timeshifting enabled.

I tried the same settings on the release version of gotham but it still didnt work, only works for me with 13.2 beta 2

So in summary if you want live radio to work try using Gotham 13.2 beta 2 and disable timeshifting in the nextPVR add-in - good luck Smile
