Yes it would. I use the Google's YouTube API to get the video lists and only scrape the page for a video when it is selected for playback. That site doesn't provide an API so I would need to actually scrape the site just to get the lists.

Whenever i try to play a video I get this error. I have replaced the parser in users\public\npvr\web\public\youtube with the one from post#54. What is wrong?

It is actually the parser from post #529, I confused it with the page # ;o

Can you reproduce the problem then post your NPVR log and the web log? Web log will need to be from the server if you are using one.

Will do, the plugin is on the server so shouldn't be a problem.

Many moons ago, I had the Youtube Plugin working really well on NPVR using a custom URL https://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/play...755403C595 in a Youtube.xml file.

The playlist for e.g is https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL...755403C595

However the current youtube has me a little bit lost. How and where do I enter the URL, and what is the Syntax?

I tried entering the URLs in the Plugin settings, but not joy. The Wiki is not comprehensive in this area.
Can anyone give me a few tips in the right direction please?

OK, I got my playlist to come up by making it unlisted in Youtube, but they do not play.
A message pops up as below.

This message is the same for each music video, and also comes upon on SOME but not all of the videos in the pre-selected Most Popular video folder. e.g. "Evolution of Dance" plays, but Lady gaga - Bad romance throws this error not.

Did you apply the patches from post #509 and #520?

If you did, that error is probably not from the plugin itself but from parser.aspx (and the plugin is just passing it through). Post your NPVR.log and web.log after reproducing the issue.
