Help finding a Gotham beta img with working NEXTPVR Add on.

Hi,

Being very new to NextPVR I am not sure if this is the same issue, but I'm running the following:

NextPVR on Win7 (latest version)
XBMC on Ubuntu - Gotham 13.1 Beta1 (the latest at time of writing)
NextPVR using the SAF codec pack.

The symptoms I see are that NextPVR seems to work fine on the host Win7 machine, but when I use XBMC to access the live streams, it starts the stream and I get around 5 seconds of audio, with no video and then the stream cuts out and XBMC hangs.

The same thing happens with recordings. So I made a 30-second test recording, then accessed the recorded stream via SMB and I get the exact same symptoms, yet the recording plays fine of the Win7 NextPVR host.

If I get a chance later to do some more testing, I'll get some XBMC debug logs/NextPVR logs.

Have some XBMC debug logs here and crash log here

And the NPVR logs are attached...

Also - for info I have tried the X-NEWA plugin for XBMC and that also exhibits the same behaviour (i.e. an XBMC crash on stream startup)

I should note I'm using the new(ish) TBS6281 Dual DVB-T2 card with the latest (1.0.0.6) driver.

NPVR status window shows the .ts stream being created when XBMC asks for it. I have excluded the directory where the .ts files are from my virus scan and have no firewalls running at all.

@wheeliemonster, it sounds like an internal ffmpeg demux issue to me you might need to make a trac ticket for it at xmbc. Can you post a link to a 30 second sample of the file that is being created?

I tried various other PVR back ends and had the same symptoms so put it down to XBMC.

I have got it working by disabling hardware video decoding but obviously I'd like to leave that enabled.

I've uploaded the sample .ts file to here

As you can see the recording from NextPVR is fine, but when I play it back in XBMC with hardware acceleration enabled I get around 5 seconds of audio and no video.

Someone else had the same issue here

I advised them to do what I'd done and it helped them too but as I said, life would be better with hardware acceleration for my videos!
