NextPVR Recording service locks up with Hauppauge WinTV 950q With Anolog

I seem to have this problem with Nextpvr where the recording service freezes while recording or watching LiveTV (mostly recording). When this happens the tray icon stays red even when nothing is recording and it only stops after I reboot. During reboot Windows 7 sits at shutting down for about 5 minutes then BSODs. I'm kind of a newbie at this so I'll try my best to understand.

post your logs; particularly all the nrecord logs (.log, .log.1, etc.)

I included NPVR.log as well if it may have any use.

There is no errors listed there, but is M:\ a physical drive attached to your machine, or some mapped network drive?

It is the second partition on the second physical hard drive on the PC.

yeah, there are crashes showing in the logs.

Thread 9 crashes here trying to start a recording, it just dies after "Tuning to channel: 57" (from NRecord.log.3):

both of these are the sorts of crashes that are recovered from by the out-of-process digital recording and the recent improvements you made to NDigitalHost crash recovery. since analog is effectively converted to digital by an MPEG-2 encoder (either hardware or software) and the .ts mux, couldn't NDigitalHost do analog recordings too?

Unfortunately not without significant work, and a new NAnalogHost.exe, or NGenericHost.exe. The existing NDigitalHost wouldn't help with achieving the same thing for capture source types.

About the BSOD I get when I reboot after NRecord crashes. Could that be caused by my tuners drivers?

Yes, quite likely.

Ok I reduced the amount of crashes by installing the driver provided by Hauppauge, but the NRecord freezes are still present.

Also I can't view live TV after a NRecord freeze unless I reboot.
