I'd be happy to. Are the changes you made to recent.py in the beta3 code, or do I need something more up-to-date so I can test? Same question for the nextpvr_recent.xml for the default skin.

Here you go, it should work with default skin, it doesn't do anything except toggling the selected state so it should be fairly safe for real use.

OK, here's an updated nextpvr_recent.xml that has a selected state. I tested, and I the color of the item does change based on the selected state using the updated recent.py you posted.

Okay thanks nice to test in Confluence again. No that you've tried tagging do you think the sub-menu to start an action should be in the left menu or in a context menu?

I'm thinking a context menu. For the most part a context menu says "do one of these things on the stuff that is highlighted." The blades are generally about stuff you can do no matter what else is going on. The draw back with the context menu is that the user has to actually know to activate the context menu to find the action options. With the blade there is a visual clue that there are other things you can do hidden on the side. Even given that, I'd still probably opt for context menu.

That said, if a context menu is a pain, the left menu would be fine. I'd probably try and figure out a way to hide the command(s) unless something was actually selected.

I like the context menu too but it is listitem based which seems to not suit multi-select well especially as the options can vary by listitem.

It appears that Confluence has a way of defining a Actions section to the left menu, several of the plugins I have use this, but I couldn't find it in the addon itself. That look the best place for it enabled when items are tagged.

@pksscout, here is another update. I added a menu to your Confluence skin for your comments, it doesn't action anything let except list the selected items to the logs, but it will soon. No strings.po yet to make this simpler.

Ok thanks, I'll finish that code off but leave that skin only version for you to test safely. The next thing I'd like on the skins is S/E info, which I probably will extract from the filename with a regex.

That looks basically fine to me. I took another look at the Confluence blades and updated ALL the blades (including the one you updated) to better match with Confluence. It mostly meant using font12 for the heading labels and moving everything up. I've attached an updated skin.

BTW, maybe it's just that I'm jet lagged, but I can't figure out what "S/E" stand for except maybe Season/Episode. Not that it matters. If you add additional list item info or skin labels, just let me know and I'll update the skin.
