Built in Schedules Direct not updating.

The Schedules Direct built in updater is not updating the EPG. If this cannot be fixed does that mean I have to use another source for XMLTV? Like Microsoft. I would like to know before prime time tonight. I could revert back to Microsoft if need be.

There are changes coming for SD soon, but it's operating normally until November 1st. post your logs.
edit: oops, posted before researching more, the new SD-DD server is now live and TMS is directing traffic to it. something is broken, as the SD-DD server used to work with NextPVR.

Was getting invalid User or password ... finally updated after numerous tries will leave well enough alone for now.

Yeah that was what I was getting ... but eventually I got lucky.

That's what the SD forum http://forums.schedulesdirect.org/viewto...f=8&t=2599 54.85.117.227 docs.tms.tribune.com webservices.schedulesdirect.tmsdatadirect.com says 50% of the time you will use the new service.
The integrated new JSON service is working great in my testing. Martin

no, the host file redirect gives you the SD-DD service 100% of the time. The original TMS "A" records now direct traffic 50% of the time to the SD-DD service.

SD apparently fixed something, as I now find my 3.2.9 test box downloads the EPG data just fine from SD-DD.

I got a similar problem. I noticed that my EPG was not populated a few days ago after almost 2 years of flawless operation. I did not see the SD update notice until I found the 3.3.8 software update here. I upgraded to it but still nothing. Worse still, my XBMC front ends can not play live TV anymore either.
Are the 2 problems related? I manually ran the updateEPG function from the channels menu and I noticed something got "migrated" which I've never seen before. Where should I start looking?
