Start a recording by selecting a current show in the TV Guide and selecting Record. Use Windows Explorer to check that a .ts file is created in the folder on the C: drive. Change the recording folder in Settings --> Recording to a folder on the NAS and start a second recording of a currently showing programme. Use Windows Explorer to check that a .ts file is created in the folder on the NAS. You should have one show recording on C: and one show recording on the NAS. If the show is not recording to the NAS then permissions seems the most likely culprit.
does not. I am not sure how to do this. I am not that good with permissions. When I tried what I found on the net the service would not start. So far batting zero on this one. I am also missing a couple of channels from the Schedule direct. The over the air channels are WAY out of sync.
