Genre Filter in Search

I've searched the forums and am surprised that I can't find a request for a genre filter in the Search. Or if it can be done, I haven't found the way to do it.

I'd like to see this implemented in a future release. For me, that would complete the DVR experience...

My SearchLite plugin has a genre filter and a movie/genre filter

I installed it but when I cycle through the types, I get start, exact, title, and detail. Don't see the genre, what am I missing?

Ah right you need to run the program genreLite.exe from Program files it's designed to run in PostUpdateEpg.bat

LOL, I just found that thread. I ran the program but I get GenreLite has stopped working. I am running it from a remote terminal, Windows 7 Pro x64.

I just tried from the machine itself and got the same error. I also tried running it as administrator, same error

Great. I haven't done much testing on it recently, eg I am sure it doesn't support display of major/minor but it does what I need.
