nscripthelper -rename removed recording from db

[NYPlayer]

I was testing a rename of a show it appears even though it says it renames it ... it actually deletes the entry from the NPVR DB. It does not rename the DB entry.

was the file in the location "\\NYPLAYER\NPVRRECC\The Voice (US)" when you called nscripthelper? if it's not, the database cleanup routine will see that the file doesn't exist and purge the db entry.

(unless you set <AutoRemoveMissingRecordings> set to false in config.xml)

No it wasn't ... I guess from what you are saying I need to have either a copy of the file there or move the file there first then run nscripthelper? I had moved it after guess that is why it was deleted.
