Scheduled Recordings gone after each EPG Update

Hi Guys,

After each automatic or manual EPG update all my scheduled Recordings are gone.

See attached the log files.

Next-PVR Version: 3.3.8
EPG Download tool: WebGrab Plus (3-party tool for downloading channel information)
EPG Source: XMLTV -> xmltv.xml (setting in Next-PVR)

Hopefully someone can help me.

Make sure the recording service is stopped from the Start Menu, apply the patches from johnsonx42's thread then rerun the 3.3.8 installer.

Thanks for your quick response.

I have stopped the N-PVR and closed the tray icon. After this I have copied all the six patch files one by one to the NPVR folder and reinstalled version 3.3.8.
Start Next-PVR, set some recordings and did a manual update of the channel EPG information. Unfortunately, the list with pending recordings is empty again.
I've also tried to install the patches alone without reinstalling 3.3.8.
Can you help me further?

I'd need to see the logs again, also reboot if you haven't tried that.

I have reboot my system and did a new simulation of the problem. Sorry the problem still exits.

I think there is a problem with one of your recurring recordings. Can you upload your npvr.db3 somewhere?

See attached my npvr.db3 database in a compressed file (zip). Hopefully you can find the problem.
Please, can you remove the file from the web after you downloaded it?

If you need to send the db back, can you do this in a private message (WeTransfer)?

It may or not be related, but I get a periodic issue with my pending recordings disappearing after an epg update. It seems to be caused by a corruption in the database. Most times, it can be resolved by running an "c:\program files\npvr\nextpvr.exe -updatedb". After that the pending recordings can be restored by running an epg update.

This happens to me every 5-6 weeks or so. Once in a while, the updated will fail to fix it and I have to restore the database from a backup.

I've since done a clean install on a new server, but it still happens occasionally. Perhaps its something about the way I get my epg updates (xmltv and BBC Radio Times listings). I've just learnt to live with it now as a petty annoyance.

I do see an idiosyncrasy in your database, sub would need to tell you if it is a problem. Two of your recurring recordings don't have their priority value set.
