Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1265

Hi,
I am using a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1265 tuner card, the new version of the HVR-1250. It doesn't seem to work with NextPVR, and I've seen complaints about such issues in the reviews of the product. Are there plans to make NextPVR work with this card? Is there anything I could do (as a software developer but with little experience in this kind of application) to help?

Yes. I am using Kodi/XBMC, wanted to use NextPVR with Kodi.

What happens when you try? I'm not aware of any reason this device shouldn't work with NextPVR.

Your best bet is probably reproducing the problem, and posting the logs.

Ah, you may be right. But let me tell you what happens. It finds all the channels fine. When I click on a channel, it acts like it is going to show the TV, but the screen remains black/blank. With WinTV, it buffers and then shows the TV. So, if it will help for me to look at the logs for this, I will figure out how to do that and post it next.

You might just need to disable the WinTV service from starting, under windows services.

No it's most likely decoders. Before uploading logs or positing quetions to me it is just common sense to read the sticky http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...RE-POSTING or the wiki.
