@MacGyver: it looks like you are missing a Microsoft.mshtml.dll

Can you check to see if you have one in C:\Program Files\Microsoft.NET\Primary Interop Assemblies\

Star!

It works! Thanks!

I don't even have the folder, all I have under C:\Program Files\Microsoft.NET is \RedistList with 2 XML files in it.

Try placing these in your Plugins\Common folder

Sorry, no change.
It would be nice to get it working but don't bust a gut on this, it works for most of the channels I watch it's just the kids watching music vids that tends to fail...

Yeah, it will only need that for videos that have encrypted signatures like Vevo videos. Still trying to find an installation package with the dll though.

I'm having the exact same issue as macgyver describes & I also don't have the Interop Assemblies folder on this machine.... but for me when it does have those ie fails to locate (which I only see when testing on the PC) it upsets the NMT quite a lot & at times requires a re-boot to get out of it, so it's not quite such a small issue from my point of view.

Is this also on XP with IE8?

The script error shows that it was not able to run the signature decryption function which is why you are getting a 403 Forbidden. I can suppress the script errors and that would fix the issue with it upsetting the NMT but it only prevents the script error popup. It won't fix the 403 problem.

Every time you write a file to the web folder, it gets compiled so I could see that happening especially if you just rename a file. With the NMT (or Kodi) make sure that you stop the recording service when you are working in there.

Nope (as you should be aware Wink ) I'm now on win7 with whatever IE it has as default

If you could supress the script errors when it's an NMT client that would fix most of the NMT crashes I have had with it over the years... but better still would be if we could find a cure for the underlying problem as I get the 403 problem quite a lot of the time... sometimes it doesn't crash & actually gives me the 403 message on screen (I wonder if those times are a different issue....hmmm)
