I seem to only be getting 11 days of guide data (through Wednesday, February 25th) from Schedules Direct today. I double checked my config.xml and it is set to get 14 days.

Is anyone else getting reduced numbers of days of guide data from SD?

Since changing to the JSON service I've gotten no more than 13 days, and it's not been unusual to get as few as 11. Can't speak for the legacy XMLTV service.

afaik the <SchedulesDirectDays> parameter in config.xml currently has no effect, as the new JSON service simply returns whatever data it has.

Schedules Direct says in <https://github.com/SchedulesDirect/JSON-Service/wiki/API-20140530>

Process the schedules; each schedule for each station id will contain at least 12 days of data, unless you have specifically requested fewer days: 2, 4 and 13 days are acceptable values.

I'm getting about 12.5 days right now. The xml service is giving me about 14 days. Don't know why they are different.

[I'm the Schedules Direct JSON guy]

Having less than 14 days of data is an issue with the current API; the version currently in development (API 20141201) will have at least 14 days, and potentially up to 30 days depending on the data from the broadcaster (although data that far out will tend to be less accurate)

How can I tell what version of the API I'm hitting? Can I force NPVR to use the development version?

You can using config.xml but if the API changed (and it doesn't look like it did from sub's side http://forumartins.schedulesdirect.org/v...=17&t=2645 ) you would need to change back.

If you select a recording too far in the future you could be stuck with a recording that has data that iGL can't use. Record Once's don't refresh daily like Recurring Recordings do.

The new API will be sufficiently different that sub will need to make some adjustments in the code. I'm just finishing internal testing now, so the server-side will be ready once sub is back.

sub: Have you been able to implement the new API so that we can get at least 14 days of guide data from Schedules Direct again?

Yes, support for the new API has been added for the next release.
