Cant restart record service using System plugin on 3.4.8

I need to regularly restart the record service due to an issue I'm having with a Colossus card, and was hoping to use the system plugin to do so.
However I just a "an error occurred" message. Not sure if its a bug or the system plugin is still compatible with 3.4.8?
Can anyone confirm one way or the other?

Depends on the error, normally UAC wouldn't allow this.

Thanks Martin, but I tried turning off UAC completely and still got the error.

Turn on debug mode and see if there's any more detail in the logs?

I never use that option so probably haven't tested it in years.
