Hi there Smile

i just downloaded the latest BlueMCE2 skin.. wow.. the current version is looking good ! .. and i am saying this after comparing with the MP version. Clear thick fonts .. and it works quite well even with overscan Smile

well done to the author (dottore?) !

keep up the good work.. btw, some feedback:
- the latest screen shots for news reader shows a dialog box with frames that are very similar to MP - those are NICE .. hope they get incorporate into the next version...

thanks again..

i wasn't the author, i'm just the maintainer, the original author is jmoger, who went to mythtv. the tribute goes to him ;-)

the dialog boxes are a good idea, i think we can put them in some of the next versions.

thanks for the input, very pleased to here that :-)

Continue to love this skin and use it soley... Thanks to every one who keeps it current and looking so nice.

Is any one working on updating the weather skin to use with the latest weather release? The new weather plugin is great! Love the new features and added detail.

Why would anyone use any other program other than GBPVR?

Oh this must be my lucky day... I will try that as soon as I get homeSmile

Dottore can you list on the wiki or in a text file for this skin All the plugins that this skin supports? I ask since I had to tweak certain font sizes, image locations etc to coincide with my current setup/resolution and I am unable to just drop the skin.xml files into my directories without first making comparisons/changes. This makes things difficult to update and maintain on my HTPC but I guess it's all about making things look cool Smile

it is listed on the wiki: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Skin/BlueMCE2

just look at the "Plugin compatibility" section. the basic plugins, that come with gbpvr (recordings, video library and so on) are not listed. should i add these too?

for those upgrading to the latest version of gbpvr [v0.03.9]

the BlueMCE2 skin requires two new directories to be copied over from the updated Blue skin directory.

Then you will find that BlueMCE2 will load again Smile

../gbpvr/skin/Blue/net radio2/
../gbpvr/skin/Blue/ScreenSaver/

copy both those folders over along with their contents and you are good to go again, as far as i can see here. Further updates will likely follow from dottore on the wiki to fine tune the skin.

good luck Smile
