NEWA not starting?

Maybe try running 'nrecord.exe RUN' from the command prompt, to see if it outputs any messages about the webserver failing to start.

I'v already done that, nothing about webserver neither in the console output nor in the log. And yes, I have verified the settings in config.xml

(while Sub is on his tour of Europe....) as the built in cassini webserver is a .NET app, are you 100% sure that there are no .NET differences between machines ?

I guess I would have seen other error messages if the .net installation was crappy, but perhaps I could try to install the full .net 4.5 package?

Similar issue, newa not listening on any TCP port I set. I had installed 3.4.8.
So, I uninstalled and then installed 3.3.8 which prompted me to install .NET FULL during the install.
This solved the issue so then I installed 3.4.8 and all was good.

Just to wrap up this old thread, it turned out to be a .net problem. The .net repair tool did not help, but I found this page https://www.raymond.cc/blog/uninstall-mi...anup-tool/ which was really helpful, I had tried the 3 first proposed solutions so I went strait to the .net uninstall tool, uninstalled all .net and reinstalled .net 4 using the web installer, installed all updated from windows update and now everything works great
