Strange crash in Nrecord and NDigitalHost after upgrade

Came home form holiday and upgraded to 3.5.7, now recordings or live tv won't start. Error message says "unable to find Astrometa... etc" but the tuner(s) are there both in Devices screen and in windows' device manager. Any clue?

My guess is the drivers have suffered some failure, and the 'ASTROMETA DTV Filter' is no longer available. You'll most likely find that removing the device and plugging it back it will reload the driver, and it'll correct the issue.

Hm, should not the driver issue be fixed when I rebooted?

Found ths problem, due to a failed upgrade to Win10 all usb drivers were lost. It seems that upgrading to 10 does not work when windows resides on a raid array that needs it's own drivers Sad
