periodically re-load comskip .edl file when watching in progress recording?

does this patch work for anyone else? I see 3 others have downloaded it, thought someone else would say it doesn't work by now....

it's on the list, which I think is up to about 12 items now. I presumed you would get to addressing it when you were done with the changes you wanted to make.
