Nrecord crashes when starting a scheduled recording

This has happen a few times lately, attached is Nrecord.log and console log snippet trying to run "Nrecord RUN"

You've got a bad tuning string for this channel - probably something to do with the URL you've enter.

I've modified the next release so that the IPTV module will handle this potential scenario more gracefully.

How is the format of the string again, is it "http://<server>:8866/live?channel=nn&client=xxx" ?

If you were trying to stream from NextPVR server, yes it'd be something like that. Try the URL in VLC first to confirm you've got it right.

Well it works in VLC but obviously not in npvr...

If you cans supply your npvr.db3, and the name/number of the channel, I'll check what it doesn't like.

If you are editing npvr.db3 and that is embedded xml you can't just use the ampersand.

It was written like in my example, but I can't find the postings where the exact format was described.

I'd like to see the tuning string, to see what is wrong with it. There is more in the tuning string than just the url. It could also be something to do with the escaping of the URL. If I can see the full tuning string, I should be able to tell what caused it.

Have you manually edited your database? I know you talked about doing it in the past.
