Is there any way to get closed captions when playing back a recording?

Closed captions are available during playback of a recording, but only for those video decoders that output the closed caption byte pairs (which pretty much limits you to the MainConcept and Intervideo MPEG2 decoders).

That said, the next release changes the way this works, and will give closed captions with any decoder.
