NPVR client freeze often since 3.6.6

I experienced many more client freeze since I update to 3.6.6
I rebooted both the server and the client to be on the safe side.

Last freeze was just stopping the playing

The client just stay there for 2 minutes, if I click on the windows, it says it stop responding.

While playing a recording, stop it, screen goes black, cursor only, then about 15 sec later you get the not responding circle cursor and I have to terminate NPVR.

This is on Win7 x64 with 4 screens, full screen on secondary display (Radeon HD 6800 on Asus P8Z68PRO, I7 2600K).

One time starting NPVR going to TV listing, the guide was didn't display correctly, missing half the show descriptions. Went to TV Guide, it just froze. :confused:

I disable Animation wait for VSYNC. I will see if this help .

I synchronized clocks to NTP on both Server and client. Still no diffÃ©rence

It looks like it only happens when watching 720P@59.94 show
1080i@29.90 show exit fine

switching decoder from Mainconcept (HCW) to Cyberlink PDV13 seems remove the issues,
I will see tomorrow.

I use C/link. My symptoms were a pause of about 30 seconds after pressing Back to stop playback of a recording. When I pressed Back, the screen would go black and stay that way for a long while and then NextPVR would carry on as normal.

I looked through the logs and saw references to logon failures at Schedules Direct (I don't have an account) so I switched Settings --> Artwork off to tidy the messages sent to the logs. I didn't expect it to affect the playback pauses ... but, strangely, the pauses have stopped and ending a playback by pressing the Back button now works as it did in previous releases. Spooky.

I first unticked the Schedules Direct download for Artwork , didn't changed the hangs with Mainconcept.
I untick Enable downloading of metadata , didn't changed the hangs with Mainconcept.

Could it be related to subtitles changes ?

Another thing I noticed is that with the Cyberlink decoder, the mouse control disappear after clicking 2 or 3 times, it is still there, but invisible, if I click again it will skip ahead.
I have to hover to another window and get back to NextPVR to make it visible again.

I've put a fix in the next build of nextpvr.exe to make sure the mouse controls don't respond unless visible.
