In your case, it sounds like you don't have any guide data for this channel, so it's asking you when you'd want to record. The default behaviour with EPG data is to record the current show, including anything you've watched of that show up until now, and continue recording until the end of that show even if you change channels. Honestly, probably not. There would be a large amount of effort required, and I think the current scheme is better - its more like the behaviour of most set top boxes people are using.
In the very distant past it was close to what you describe, but it moved to what we have to day, with user suggestions over the years.

I think,there will just be a red button,which when is pressed,it will writes new file,and when again pressed,it will stop.

I updated a Keyword recording post-padding,but in pending recordings it still show same time. :confused:

Those do not include the padding. Padding is considered 'optional, but desireable'. It'll try to record the additional padding if it can (ie if a spare tuner is available).
