device scan is not finding physical channels

hi there! i do the scan for each device but none of them finds the physical channels. any ideas? thx

There is no errors in the logs, but it looks like the device has never managed to lock a signal. It'd check my antenna. I'd also check if it works in the WinTV software that came with the device.

You mean it works in WinTV?

If so, do a scan in WinTV, then zip and post the C:\Users\Public\WinTV\Logs directory, and then scan in the NextPVR and zip and attach the NextPVR logs, and I'll compare what is different. (I wrote the WinTV app when I used to work for Hauppauge, so I'm very familiar with those logs too)

yes it also works if i connect it (the coax) directly to the tv. what i find strange is the npvr log shows it as a dual tuner and is not. it's single tuner (wintv 850) which use to work before. i'll send the wintv logs later. thx

I'm not seeing any sign of NextPVR thinking it's dual tuner. It's a multi-function tuner, so it's listed multiple times - once for each type of thing it can do. ie, You could see it listed for ATSC (which is digital TV via an antenna) and QAM (which is digital TV via cable) and Analog (if you've got WinTV installed)(which is for analog TV, like via RF from set top box, or svideo/composite input).

You've got to scan the right type of device. ie, ATSC if you're doing antenna, or QAM if you're doing digital cable etc. Is your coax connected to an antenna? or digital cable? or from a set top box?

You're probably not seeing that third Analog option list for your device, because you didn't have WinTV installed in those previous logs:

Which log file? ie, no point in looking at some of those ndigital-host log files, which are old log files from 2017 or 2016, back when it looks like you had a WinTV-dualHD
