I don't seem to be able to locate any ndigitalhost log files on my system. Are these only written after a program successfully records or is something not installed correctly?

You're trying to watch/record live tv in NextPVR. How are you trying to get that live tv signal into NextPVR? ie, usually you'd have device connected to your PC, which looks like these. I'm guessing you don't have one?

You'd only have these files if you have a digital tuner. It sounds like you don't have one.
I think when you were referring to 'tuner' earlier, you were meaning something like this, which is an entirely diffferent thing (which is more of an amp/receiver).
Just a quick update, the recording I started half hour ago just finished, and for the first time I see the .ts file, however it is a 0 byte file and under recordings still shows 'No errors, but no data delivered. This is usual because the device failed to lock a signal.
I realize I never seen the .ts file before because I was deleting the failed recording from the recordings menu.

hmmm, pretty little thing, but yes that is exactly what I was referring to. Amazing how people, like me, have no clue sometimes :o

Thats a PC (albeit a small one, which can dual boot to Andorid). It's not a TV tuner or video capture device.
Tuners or video capture devices take television signals, convert them into 0s and 1s (data), and supply the information to your PC, where applications like NextPVR can use that data. You don't have one of those devices, so there is no place for NextPVR to get the TV data from.
OK, so now we know what I didn't know half an hour ago, but still, if it's a PC then I would need to have some sort of capture device connected to it, such as one of the images you showed above?
I just thought I would jump into NPVR, laod up some decoders, and watch live TV via this PC and my TV.
I do appreciate your time and patience Sub...thanks!
