The one thing you might have missed, is NextPVR is closed source, developed by one guy (me, admittedly with the help of several other guys for testing and NEWA)
I did not know that. Wow, thats a lot to take on. I must say you have done great work, especially since it's a one man job.
Since I love bumping old threads and going all off topic, What can I do to improve my listing data? Myth allows the user to adjust the scanning time and duration. I didn't see that with NextPVR. I'd really rather not subscribe to a listing service for 2 reasons, 1. extra complexity, 2. I'm trying to build a 100% fee free box.

All reports suggest that the EPG data broadcast over the air (ATSC) only goes a few hours into the future and is not much good for a PVR. You can increase the scan time by setting "EPGScanSeconds" in config.xml. The default is 60 seconds.

Thanks. In my area the listing data is quite good. Myth pulled data up to 4 days in advance. I'll adjust the timer. Also, I have two tuners, can I set one at 5 minutes and the other at 30 seconds? And while it is doing a scan is that tuner busy and unable to record?

It listens for EPG data on every frequency (mux). All of my tuners are setup with the same frequencies so it only uses one tuner to collect EPG data. I'm not sure what happens if you have different frequencies specified on each tuner.
Most of us use Settings --> Misc2 to specify an auto EPG update in the small hours when no recordings are in progress.
