Interface questions - Font size on TV Guide

How can I make the TV Guide listing larger?

My wife has poor vision. We're OK with sacrificing some rows (and columns) if it will allow us to get larger text so she can read the guide data better. I'm fairly competent editing stuff, I just need to know what files to edit.

It's not very straight forward, but you'd generally do this by tweaking C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Skin\Default\TV Guide\Guide.xml and C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Skin\Default\Global.xml

Sorry, I don't have any details instructions on how to do it, but hopefully you'll be able to work it out. I suggest backing up any of those files before you start your edits.

This is an ammended skin I done many years ago. It only enlarged for the verticle menu and there are a few alignment problems on some screens but it may give you a starting point.

Unzip it and add it to your Users/Public/NPVR/Skin folder

You will need to copy the _Backgrounds folder from the Default folder to the Magoo folder bcecause this was too big to upload.

After selecting the skin from the settings screen you have to restart NPVR for it to become active

Be aware that AFAIR if you do an npvr update to a newer version, it will stomp on your changes - so keep a copy of the working one. (of course this behaviour may have changed since I last played with skins).
