Client 3.7.7 with CyberLink Video Decoder (PDVD13) subtitles are not showing.
With MainConcept (HCW) MPEG-2 Video Decoder subtitles are fine.

Try using viewing closed captions, then post the logs and I'll take a look.

Start NextPVR on client, start playing with PowerDVD decoder, enable subtitles, stop playing
Change decoder to MainConcept, start playing, enable subtitles, they are displayed.

sub,
If I remember correctly, you said this version should show CC no matter which decoder you use.
I tried it with the standard Microsoft decoder and no-go.
Logs attached.

P.S. thanx for the recurring-recordings "disabled" switch!

Actually, that was added in 3.6.6, but 3.7.7 should be largely the same on this front.

OK, I went back to square zero!

Re-installed WIN 7 and 3.6.6 on a spare server.
The MS decoder seems to work fine; CC's are displayed.

I then upgraded to 3.7.7 and CC's stopped working.

Logs are attached.

Rebuilt my main server last night.
Different graphics processor, CPU, video card, etc. than my spare server.
Results were the same; CC's with 3.6.6 but not 3.7.7.

Being an old guy who's hearing is failing, not to mention the British dialect, CC's are a deal-breaker for me.
I'll stick with 3.6.6 until sub comes up with a patch.
