You should chop that into a reasonable size 50-100MB with CutChunk http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...y.CutChunk

It's not really the same problem your file plays in NextPVR but it is not seekable so the edl file is messing it from the beginning. There are no PCR packets in that sample remuxing and creating them works.

What is the fix? NextPVR recorded the stream and created the supporting data files.

Does that file play for you? It plays for me - but as Martin says, it doesn't skip well.

It plays for me but doesn't skip well. I filed my statements in this thread because it doesn't play in the manner it should in the GUI.

I fixed it by running it through ts4np http://www.videohelp.com/download/Ts4Np_082.zip to add the PCR packet

This is a particularly odd stream, with various things missing. I'm not quite sure how it could have ended up this way unless the broadcaster strangely transmitted it that way.

What source was it recorded from?

OTA, KGW-HD 8.2 (NBC HD), mapped to SchedulesDirect KGWDT2
I have a dual tuner HDHomeRun.

I've had this problem for several years. A neighbor also has this problem, and he has the same setup as me.
Sometimes other channels give the same problem, but it's almost always a problem for NBC shows.
