Hi,
I've been running v3.7.7 since I first installed NPVR in July. I've seen this issue since I installed the program however I've just been dealing with it. I searched the forum and couldn't find anything the same, so I apologize if this is a duplicate.

The issue I'm seeing is that I setup a recurring recording by recording all episodes across all stations. When I first setup the recurring recording, it will record all of the episodes that meet the criteria (sometimes I already have the episode recorded so it skips over it, as it should). However, the recordings stop after the EPG data runs out and it doesn't update when the EPG data is refreshed (refresh happens nightly but only runs for the duration of the data at time of recording setup which is about 10 days worth). I never see the recording in the "recurring recordings" section, only individual recordings in the "pending recording" section. I've tried the "remove history" command to clear things out and try again. So bottom line - every time I setup a recurring recording, it is never setup as "recurring" just a series of individual recordings in the pending recording section. I've tried for multiple shows across stations just to test it out and I have not had any success. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Can you supply your npvr.db3 file? I'll check it out.

I had the same problem with 3.7.7. I figured it had to do with me applying a couple of the patches for this version, so I replaced the program folder with one containing 3.6.6 files. Voila! Instead of the 17 recurring recordings I had with 3.7.7, now there were 77 showing, many with multiple repeats. I don't think it's a database problem.

Snake, can you hit 'update epg', let it complete, then post your npvr.log?

It looks like your database hasn't been updated to include the 3.7.7 changes.

Try running "nextpvr.exe -updatedb" then try again to create a recurring recording.

Usually it'd update the database automatically when you upgrade.

You didn't backup your npvr.db3 before installing 3.7.7, then restore that file? (ie, overwriting the upgrades that had been done to the database)

Negative. No upgrades at all. Fresh install of 3.7.7. I don't recall doing anything unusual at the time but I'd have to revisit what I downloaded and how I installed it.

Thanks again, greatly appreciated!
