NPVR MPV boots into 4:3 aspect rather than 16:9

Using NextPVR version 3.6.6 on Windows XP SP3 and MPV wired clients.

After a power cycle of the MPV it always starts in 4:3 aspect ratio.

This requires going to "settings" and changing it to 16:9 before selecting "Emulation Mode".

Is there a way of keeping it in 16:9 or is this hard coded to start in 4:3 mode

It has been years, but I recall for video I think it should use auto scaling, for the GUI aspect ratio you set that with the Hauppauge software or via a command line option - a 16x9 that used to be able to set in config.xml

It was certainly the Hauppauge software that set it when I used GBPVR but thought this maybe dongle software now as my MPV's have been set to 16:9 with Hauppauge already.
No - it affects the video output not just GUI
Never mind its not critical.
