I'm using a 1920x1080 TV with Windows 10x64. After installing the latest NPVR update, I can view NPVR's entire screen only when I configure Windows 10's Display Settings "text, apps, and other items" to 100%. I need to change that setting to 150% to read the screen from quite some distance away. When I do that, I can only see the upper left portion of all NPRV screens. I've tried setting NPVR's UI Zoom to -150%, but it's limited to -20% which only helps slightly and doesn't sync the mouse pointer with the text zones.

NPVR's UI Resolution is set to 1920x1080. I didn't have this issue with earlier versions. Am I missing something or can someone explain how to correct the screen size please?

I not sure why some users have had this issue when their text size is set to something other than 100%. I'm not able to reproduce it on my Win10 machine.

You could see if this patch makes any difference.

Is this one different from the one you had me test in http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...ire-screen which didn't work?

That said, OP, if this patch doesn't fix it a "work around" is to right click the short cut, go to properties, select compatibility and uncheck "Disable display scaling on high DPI setting".

This fixes it BUT the problem WILL re-appear IF you toggle between window mode and full screen and require you to go uncheck this box again or next launch will be funky.

I never could figure out what the program is doing to cause windows to toggle this box BUT it seems to at least be the issue.

Yep, this is exactly what I figured out today - unchecking "Disable display scaling on high DPI setting" kind of fixes it, but as soon as you maximize the window get rid of the frames and go full screen, it gets funky - you can see if stutter as if it cannot interpret the resolution properly. Then it goes back to the menu, and I have to hit Alt/Tab to see the video. After closing and re-opening NPVR, the "Disable display scaling on high DPI setting" is checked again, so it has something to do with the scaling for sure.

I have installed Kodi, and using NPVR as the backend, Kodi displays everything NPVR recorded beautifully, so it's definitely just a UI incompatibility with NextPVR.

I also have Windows 10 64 Home, on a brand new PC with ATI Radeon R7 graphics on the ASUS motherboard. All other programs work great. Thanks for your help guys - we'll get it eventually.

Same problem. Native 1360x768 Samsung TV, Win7Pro x64, fresh install of OS and usual programs, latest NPVR, set to 125% increased size. In windowed or full-screen and at various UI resolutions, NPVR is overscanned (can only see a portion of what should be seen). When DPI is put back to 100%, NPVR displays normally.

The executable posted by Sub didn't fix the problem. Nor am I able to fix it via the "Compatibility" tab -odd.

I would recommend further discussion of this issue on another already established post. It has a bit more information and suggestions. Best to keep things together.
