NPVR has been running fine for quite some time. There are new OTA channels available, so I ran a scan for those channels, added them, etc.

Now, when NPVR is loaded, all I see for the menu is "Live TV/DVD/Exit". Nothing else. No Guide, Recordings, etc. Have stopped restarted recording service, rebooted, etc. - still same results - nothing but 3 items on the menu.

Reading between the lines, my problem may be similar, although I did not do a channel scan. I recently circumvented the MS DTV-DVD problem and also upgraded to 3.9.2. Seemed to work fine at first, now it looks like fonts are too large for the containing windows (or NPVR thinks the windows are larger than they are). Main menu items are chopped off, progress boxes (like during the EPG fetch) are much too small to see the full text, and the TV Guide does not display at all. Also no live TV. I'll gladly supply a log if needed. Thanks!

If you go to the Settings->Plugins screen, are all the screens ticked?

Also start NextPVR directly from the shortcut, rather than right clicking on the tray icon - there is a bug with this that can cause menu items to become unchecked. This is fixed for the next release.

If that fixed tundrwd's problem, then mine is different, and sorry for hijacking the thread. I observed the tray icon issue, but wasn't using it. Also, I misspoke: live TV works if I wait long enough. My issue looks like a font/window size mismatch.

This is a known problem when you've got Windows configured for large fonts. If you set Windows to use 100% text size, it'll look correct.

Thanks, that did it. I did like 150% though, as I use a large screen TV that I sit back from. Oh, well, small text and other objects is better than no NPVR (mouse clicks were registering at wrong pointer locations) :-)
I don't believe the problem affected my previous release of NPVR...

Ok - that was the problem...
