No logs attached. I'm going to bed now - I'll check your logs in the morning.

I can see it's not hooking up for you, but it's not clear why. I've made some changes for the next release which give us more info on why it's not hooking up. For now you'll probably just need to use another decoder.
(I'll split these posts off onto a separate thread later, since it doesn't seem to be related to the original issue in the thread)

On Win10 that actually is the correct behaviour if you don't have the MS DVD player installed or the MS DVB DTV hack installed. With Creators Update it is a free download from the MS store.

Yep, good point Martin. I thought he'd indicated it was working, but forgot HD there was H.264 vs MPEG2 for SD.

A few weeks away. (the Creators Update will be available before then)

See link below for details: I got a big kick reading this: "With today’s release of Windows 10 Creators Update, we expect users to once again move rapidly to the latest and best version of Windows. " The majority of users don't even know they have a choice. They never changed any of the default update settings, so they'll just wake up to a rebooted PC one morning and things will be different. (That is, unless Win10 decides to upgrade in the middle of their work!)
