You can install and run Kodi on one computer and install and run NextPVR on a second computer ... or ... you can install and run Kodi and NextPVR on the same computer. Either way, you need to tell Kodi where NextPVR is installed and running.

I understand that you are a busy guy and that typing takes time but it would be really helpful if you could give us a little bit more detail. What did you install in another PC? What says host does not exist? What is the answer to the earlier question?

hushpc is the default name so no it won't work, the default IP or actual host name you really need to do a lot more research before posting.

This is pretty common in North America, where they typically only transmit a few hours of listings available over ATSC (antenna), and usually no listings at all for digital cable. Most users from North America get a Schedules Direct account for listings. You can see how to setup Schedules Direct in NextPVR here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqJ7QiYS3Rk

The rest of the world typically gets a week or so of listing from their TV provider, so don't have to worry about this.

Otherwise use the NextPVR server IP address on your network.
i went to what is my ip, got IP to PC running NPVR and it still cannot find host PC. how do i get the PVR IP address?
