Next PVR wont work after latest windows upgrade

I meant to say that with all the renderers NPVR plays 100% perfectly for approx. 1`-2 secs before the freezing stuttering and pixellating starts.

Do recordings plays ok and how is playback with the software that came with your capture card?

Crikey, I don't use it to record and I have had the capture device so long I have no idea what software came with it.

I have reinstalled latest graphics card drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled NPVR, installed SAF which uninstalled klite codecs and LAV and nothing has changed.

I have discovered software called sichbopvr and that works fine.

Having the similar trouble with NPVR after the creator update here too. Although to be fair I had trouble before the update but its been made worse, just a blank screen. I guess Microsoft have done it again and not tested the new version to destruction yet. I tried rolling back but it made no difference. I might try a clean install if i can find time to reinstall all the programs/apps again. I've also downloaded Sichbopvr and it works OK but I cant seem to get HD on it. It will do until Microsoft issue a patch to enable Npvr to work again.

Just discovered that my problem (see my post The Dreaded Blank Screen) after the windows update was being caused by the Fast Start Up. I unchecked it and so far (4 or five times shutting down and starting) NPVR is behaving its self. Seems Microsoft have broken something in the latest update.

HD was never something that entered my radar, but there seem very few channels on sicbopvr compared to nextpvr and it doesn't seem to have found any HD ones.
