Recording Problems - redo

I seem to be having a problem recording the PBS Newshour Weekend. Each show should be 30 minutes but I added an additional 30 mins of post padding.

Each time, the recording creates an unusable file that is very short (10 or 35 MB). The longer file plays for a 1:21 in Kodi and VLC. The shorter file won't play in either program.

The sections of the log file for the recording times in question is attached. The full logs are also included.

You may need to configure your HDHR for Default or MediaPortal BDA Compatibility Mode. NextPVR is not recommended. I am assuming PBS plays fine with the standard HDHR app.

The HDHR works perfectly with NextPVR to record the 5 weekday PBS Newshour shows as well as several other shows on various stations. The only difference with the Weekend shows is that they are on one of the SD channels instead of the main HD channel. The weekend show starts to record but fails within the first minute or two.

Even with the NextPVR settinng you will get perfect recordings, it comes down to how the HDHR filters streams in NextPVR mode. Confirm jhat the recommended settings don't work and then sub might need to do some further full stream analysis.
