NPVr/DCR2650 was working fine - later not

I have a fresh install of Win10 Pro (1703). Installed WinTV8 to get the latest DCR2650 drivers. Got NVPR installed and setup. Was working fine with the DCR2650 this morning. This evening, I launched NVPR; I see tuner light come on and the channel name displays in upper left corner of window. Then nothing - just a blank screen. I doubled checked all the codecs. Everything is same as earlier. Any suggestions?

If you do a recording, does a file get created, and is there data in it or does it stay at zero bytes size?

NPVR Recorded lists says 'failed' . To the right, "No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal." I can launch WinTV8 and watch TV so I know the tuner is working. I would much rather use NPVR.

ok - do a recording and post the logs and I'll take a look.

If I had to guess based on what we've seen in the past, I'd say your firewall/antivirus/netnanny software is blocking the stream from the device, so NextPVR receives no data.

Thanks -- I checked Win10 firewall and NPVR was set for public and my network is Private. I changed that and rebooted. I now get video , but no audio. I'll check the codecs again.

edit: Got the audio back. Guess I had messed a round with those settings. Thanks!
