Hi,

I use the default setting for Low Quality Recordling (which is 352X480 NTSC) but when I look at the recording's properties with Windows Media Reader, it still say 720X480. Is this a known limitation with the ATI Theater PRO?

Also, I would like to know who to use the Custom quality recording settings?

Thanks

Do you explicitly choose "low quality" for every recording you do? GBPVR always uses the "medium" quality as the default quality. If you want to use low quality you either have to choose "low quality" when you schedule the recording, or change the quality settings of the "medium quality" (in the config app) to match that of your likings.
I'm not always right

Yes. With this device you can change the bitrate but not the resolution.

Will it be fixed in the future?
Because the device seem to support resolution change from what I see in GraphEdit...

And yes, I set the recording quality to low for some recordings. Just to see what it would look like on cartoon. My guess is that a lower resolution, even with a lower bitrate than Medium quality, could give a better output than Medium quality for cartoon.
Has anyone tried?

Maybe. The 550 pro devices dont work like all the other devices, and its kind of painful to do special case stuff for this one devices. That said, I have added special stuff to allow bitrate changes.
