Upgraded to v.4.0.4 today and can no longer watch live TV.
To watch previously recorded programs I had to change decoders.
Live TV doesn't work with old decoder config or new decoder config.

I go to the TV Guide, select something to watch and it hangs with "...please wait...".
I have to bring up Windows tool bar and close it. Task manager shows NextPVR.exe using lots of CPU.

I suspect ticking the 'use legacy ts reader and demux' on the Settings->Decoders screen will get it working. Before you do that though, can you check if you're you able to play recordings?

Playing back a recording played the video super fast while audio was normal. This was the original problem with the need to change decoders too.
Checking the box for legacy ts reader and demux makes it all work.

Thank you.

If you get a chance, a short sample recording from one of your channels would be useful. You could put it somewhere like dropbox or onedrive, and let me know the download link.

This way I can try reproducing it here.

I'm seeing the same thing after updating to 4.04. the web site tells me it's playing but I get a gray box still. In web/temp I can see ts files being created. I first noticed this as my recordings were ending up as 0 bytes and then when to the web site and I was unable to play. What logs help here sub?

You've introduced a few possible areas here. Are you able to record? (If no, then live tv wont work either)

We'd need to zip and attach the logs directory after an attempted recording.

I am able to record. I verified that last night. If I try to play the recording from the web site all I see is a gray box as well. The status bar shows that it is playing though.

Please record a show and then attempt to watch the show using the NextPVR software (not the web interface) and then attempt to play the recording using the web interface.

There is a button at NextPVR Settings --> About that will create a zip file containing the logs. Please attach the zip file to a post that tells us the time of the recording and the times of the attempts at playback so that we know where to look in the logs. Thanks.

In addition to those logs, also look for a log file in c:\users\public\npvr\web\temp when you try to watch via the web app.

Here's my logs. The last two attempts at recording produced files that were 0 bytes. I also attached the log from web/temp of trying to play something live.
