Well, it is the best one to look at it's playable throughout just no skipping, I wasn't about to cut the file into pieces, because then you wouldn't have access to the raw footage.

You can use CutChunk to cut a smaller video file from the source file. It doesn't manipulate it in any, just copies the requested portion of the larger source file.

just that whatever it was in the stream that said "fast forward", as soon as I skipped past that, the rest of the show was 100% fine, totally bizarre.

It's the last "5" minutes, the first 5 apparently was fine, minus some glitches, but I've seen a few shows do that lately at the bottom mostly, wondering about a possible tuner going south.

No - not really. Best advice is try to have a good signal. Playing garbage files is difficult.

Not a signal issue, but I'm seeing (Only on CBS) what appears to be HAM garbage, like near the end of where a HAM would do the entire screen, the bottom of it will fill with what looks like blank crap. It's only happening on CBS shows (it's random on them too), now I did update all the LAV libraries, so I'll know tonight if any more HAM stuff is happening, as I've got more shows coming up on that channel and I know it's not the signal as I checked it last week on the other PC and it was rock solid though I was watching it to see if any HAM stuff happened and I did not see it, so wondering if the writing is hitting something with comskip (also updated, in hopes that the cut short comskips won't cause 1hr shows to play for 43 minutes unless you want to sit through the commercials for the rest as skipping fails). (HAM for anyone who isn't understanding me, is Hold And Modify.)

Updated the LAV filters, checked that NCIS file I have, there appears to be an actual issue with CBS's transmitter, it's actually sending crap here and there that only the tuner seems to see, the TV doesn't, watched a bunch of CBS shows to see if I could see it repeat this, recorded the same NCIS and the actual picture has garbage in it. TV and system are on the same cable with digital splitter, so it's not like the signal is weaker for the one and not the other.

Tried to use RW (short) on the remote to go back 4 minutes because ComSkip said the beginning of Arrow was "commercials". Got 2 minutes back and Next PVR froze (Not Responding), had to plug a keyboard in to get to the Task Manager to end it. Am still getting a *pause* after a skip, it's random, some times I don't, sometimes it stops, black screen, have to hit RW once to get a picture and then it goes, now sometimes pause & play doesn't fix it.

The garbage I'm seeing in the recording shows up on screen as what looks like a Hold and Modify, where the low bottom of the screen fills in with grayish blocks until new picture information overwrites it. I don't see that when playing it through Media Player Classic using EVR (or system default), but I am seeing the garbage, but don't see that garbage at all when the sections hit inside of NextPVR, so it looks like the frames are damaged/corrupted somehow. I can chunk it if you want and make it available, should be enough to see it.

EDIT: Checked the NCIS file with FFMpeg, there are errors (attached FFMpeg's output).

That would be the best way to diagnose problems like this, it is very unlikely that it is a transmitter problem You will need to put a 100-150 MB sample that duplicates the problem on the the cloud for further inspection.
