snaitaz Wrote:Thanks for the info and assist. The original xml file as previously indicated was set in a .gz file so I decompressed it and it created a p2.xml which I imported to NPVR then exported it to the default file channels-Other.xml which is vastly smaller in size compared to the original. Original=33746kb new file=339kb. So I would assume (mistake?) that the resulting exported file would be in the correct format but I really don't know. So here are both for you to examine.Ah... having looked at your channels-other.xml, I now understand a bit of what you're saying here. You don't need to do this Export Channels in NextPVR. This channels-Other.xml file is nothing to do with TV listings. Just delete that file, you don't need it, and it wont help you with what you're trying to do. You can run "nextpvr.exe -emptydb" to delete all your channels and start again. From a clean system, you should just go to the Settings->Devices screen, double click the IPTV device, hit the 'Import' button, then enter your IPTV providers m3u url and their xmltv url, then hit ok, then hit yes to it's offer to update the EPG. You should be fine to enter a .gz url in that xmltv url box. After doing this, do you have listings on any or no channels?

Thanks for the information Sub. Just to be clear, you are saying that enter my IPTV m3u URL which is ...
http://vaders.tv/vget?username=XXXXXXX&p...ideo.Vader and then enter the their xmltv url which is...C:\Users\snait\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata\addon_data/plugin.video.VADER/VADER_xmltv.xml.gz and it should work? Those URL's are what is used inside of Kodi's NextPVR and it works fine. My mistake as I thought the gz file would not be read by NPVR desktop version so that is why I change it. But now I will give that a go and let you know the results. Thanks again.

Yes, you should be able to do that.

After following your instructions on the Channels Settings screen I got this.
[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND] And on the main screen guide I got this which is exactly what I have been getting all along. [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND] Since you have my creds, did you get a chance to put those URL's in and get the correct result? Thanks.

It looks as though the channels are not mapped correctly or at all for that matter.

When you're entering that .gz xmltv URL on the Import screen, make sure you use the network URL, rather than the local file you've downloaded though. ie, so http://vaders.tv/p2.xml.gz

With your credentials, and that .gz url, it is successfully putting in the channels and EPG for me.

Thanks for the time you've put into this for me Sub, it is very much appreciated. Now that you have tested it using my creds and it works! Then it has to be operator (me) error. I will follow your suggestion using the patch and let you know. Thanks again.
Well some progress has been made as the patch along with using the corrected URL for the EPG fixed the issue of populating NextPvr. I now am showing shows for all of the channels which have shows. Unfortunately, I launched NPVR several times clicked on TV Guide, selected a channel and clicked on watch. It then crashed and rendered me a black screen. I check on the Kodi side of this and the stream is working fine. [ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]
