cannot set directory for manual recording

i have followed the steps in the wiki and directory does not appear in the settings for a manual recording. i am using version 4.0.5 (171208).

Correct - there was no room on the manual recording popup, so it doesn't give you this option. It's only given as an option for recordings scheduled from the guide (which the vast majority of people use anyway).
