I went to several channels that were not channel 4. None of them come up. I just get the "Unable to find available capture device" message when I go to Live TV.
I'm not sure what you mean by guide source. I have converted all of my channels to Schedule Direct and the type is ATSC under devices and the source is ATSC under channels in settings. If I need to check something, please explain where I need to go and what I need to do. Thanks Martin.

Sorry, my mistake your recordings log is for many days before and after your change. In Setup-> Channels make sure that every channel is mapped to your scanned ATSC channels correctly.

Here's a strange one...
When zap2it changed their site earlier this month I switched to tvguide.com and it'd been working great since. Then a few days ago I noticed it wasn't getting any listings for Feb 1 starting at around 7:00 pm (I'm in Eastern time zone), but then the listings reappear on Feb 5th around 4:30-5:00 am. Will be interesting to see if the gap stays there over the next few days.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Edit: I just read through the zap2it &zap2xml thread and followed fla's advice, and reran the updateepg (took a few minutes to download all the data) and now the guide isn't missing any days.
Hi Martin,
I went to Settings/Devices and clicked on my tuner (Hauppaugh Cx23100 BDA ATSC Tuner) and then in "Digital Recorder Settings", I highlighted all the channels and pushed 'scan'. It scanned and came up with 39 channels - all were ATSC. The physical channel numbers were different from the numbers in the "Channels" tab in Settings. I went in and changed any that were not Schedules Direct to SD. However, it all seemed to be a wild goose chase as the TV Guide is still ok, but the Live TV is still saying "Unable to find available capture device". There was one channel (4.1 WJXT-HD) that had 2 exact entries, and was entering the same listings in the TV Guide, so I deleted one of them. There are a couple of others that look like they have the same listings (I just did a brief visual scan, so not 100% sure), but their "Channel Name" and "SID" are different, so I left them alone. Not at all convinced any of this has to do with the Live TV issue. Still would like to know if re-doing the Config file might have triggered the problem?? Thanks for all the help. Looking forward to the next attempt. Marsha

You might be best to delete your npvr.db3 (the device/channel/recording database), so that it'll create a new one, then try rescanning for channels.
Hi Sub,
i went in to delete npvr.db3 and I got the pop-up: "The action can't be completed because the file is open in NDigitalHost.exe. Close the file and try again". I searched for NDigitalHost.exe on my computer and it is in C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\NPVR. I don't see where the file is open, but it says it is. Should I delete that file first, then delete npvr.db3? If so, will NDigitalHost.exe restart itself or do I have to restore it? If I do, how do I do it? Sorry I'm such a pain. Marsha
Reboot the computer. Do not start nextpvr. Stop the recording service using the icon in npvr in the start menu. Delete the npvr.db3. Reboot the computer. Start nextpvr. Go to nextpvr setings ... Devices and rescan.
Well Sub, Graham and Martin, thank you for sticking with me. That did it. It looks like all is working. One of these days I'll delete channels I never watch, but not now. I appreciate GREATLY all your suggestions and walks through the computer minefield that I inhibit. Thanks again. Here's hoping I don't need you for awhile (for your sake as well as mine).
