I have SD set to update my epg at 4:15 am along with my IPTV xml update. This is not happening and I'm neither recording or watching IPTV at that time. I'm wondering if it's because once I watch or record an IPTV channel the record indicator light down not go off and NPVR thinks something is recording when nothing actually is. Is there a way the next version of NPVR could correct this problem? Also, although I know they're different tuners, any time I'm recording both an IPTV and a cable channel simultaneously, the cable channel is unwatchable. The IPTV recording will be fine. I believe I've sent samples of this before. I can watch an IPTV recording with no effect on a recording cable channel. Any chance this can be corrected?

Post the logs and I'll see what happened with last night's EPG update.

Last night it updated because I made sure the recording indicator wasn't red before I went to bed. If NPVR indicates it's recording there is no update until that indication stops. I understand and can deal with that. But, it would be helpful if the recording indicator turned off after an IPTV recording completes, which it doesn't do at this time.

I've just double checked, and I'm not seeing this behaviour here. Post the logs showing an example of this happening, and I'll check what's happening.

If you go to the Settings->Status screen, does it show the device still recording?

Here are the logs. As near as I can tell, the epg did not update last night as it should have.

It looks like it's timed out waiting for the web server to respond.

Is there any way the timing can be changed. I've noticed the XML update for the IPTV takes significantly longer than SD does. Otherwise, I'll have to update the XML manually.

If you click the 'update epg' button, how long does it take to complete?

It doing the exact same stuff, but for whatever reason their web server may be busier in the middle of the night or something, and taking longer to respond.

I've increased the timeout for this for the next build.

It tries to download the XML first and takes approximately three minutes before it starts loading and about a minute to load. Way, way slower than SD.
