Has anyone else experienced freeze on resume on a partially watched show? Does not happen every time, obviously nothing in the logs. I have tried different decoders, Cyberlink PDVD13, LAV and MS. Cyrrently using latest LAV both for H.264 and Mpeg.

You are not alone
Started in August after a TSReader4 update and PDVD13 Codec - Changing to LAV cured it for a while then it came back again with 4.05.
It's not quite so bad now but still happens sometimes. WAF has plummeted Sad Having to get the mouse to force NPVR to crash means she now will not use resume - just skips in from the start still she finds a bit she can't remember.

Just started using LAV nightly 0.71.0-8 to see if that makes a difference.
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

I can't reproduce this here. Try creating a c:\temp directory, and setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\NPVR\ LogDemux=1 (DWORD) in the registry, reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the c:\temp\demux.txt and I'll take a look.

Will do as soon as I find another recording that will not resume. What to do next?

I'll look for clues in the demux.txt, and we'll decide on next steps depending on what I find.

All of my assorted freezing problems seem to have gone away since I installed the Feb. 5, 2018 1:42 PM version of NPVRTSReader4.ax from another thread.

Which thread? I'd like to give it a try...

I have now installed the version from about 5 posts later - a couple of resumes worked OK - and the green blocking at the start appears to have gone (LAV Mpeg2 SD)

Just have to wait and see if this has fixed it.

Didn't seem to help here either...
