Can you try again - it won't cause any difference like that. it doesn't go anywhere near frequencies and stuff like that.

All my channels have the same Frequency and SID listed identically twice and give the option to edit digital tuning. However BBC4 has 2 different tuning frequencies (as per the above log excerpt) and does not have the option to edit tuning. Just thought I would mention it in case it's relevant.
[edit] ah... ok, one frequency per tuner and I hadn't copied over the new frequency for BBC4 to the second tuner. fixed now. testing CollectEIT again.... (sorry about that)
[edit2] I wonder if that's what my (and possibly) others problem has been all along? will test some more and report back soon

Hi All
Will this small programme not do the capturing you require?
Andrew

PS: Pleased to see Subs on the case. Smile

Sub is the author of TS capture ... so it's probably best if we all stick with that.

I've just tested today a whole set of multiple recordings, over HD channels, but avoiding the BBC 4 multiplex. It worked. No bad recordings, shut down properly, no zombies.

BBC4 is 7pm+, but tonight i'll set it up to do 1 recording on its own, and 1 with another multiplex running.

Hi @gEd,
I don't think this is the problem in my case as I have the following frequencies listed for BBC4HD (I have 4 tuners):
Freq:490000 SID:4544
Freq:490000 SID:4544
Freq:490000 SID:4544
Freq:490000 SID:4544

However, I'm wondering if there's something in your idea, as the behaviour I have seen is that single recordings from BBC4 (not overlapping anything else) are OK, but overlapping recordings (requiring a second tuner) usually go zombie.

I don't know whether it might be part of the issue, but I have also noticed that the SchedulesDirect info for BBC4HD is wrong, whereas if I use the line-up for BBC4 (SD) it's OK. Do we have a general issue with the BBC4 EPG since the move?

andrewj, did you try setting <CollectEIT> to false? In your case, since you're using Schedules Direct, it won't interfere with your ability to get listings etc.

I set CollectEIT to false last night and it recorded 4 or so shows without any problem. Jut trying it again with it set back to true to see if I can reproduce the problem (or if my issues were down to bad tuning).

ok, good that it's just me who can't set their tuning up correctly then.
Do you have an example or 2 of where BBCHD EPG from SD is wrong as what I have recorded so far looks to be right. (i.e. the recordings are of the shows I am expecting and at the right time).
