Unresolved Conflicts

Just wondering how the "look for alternate airings on unresolved conflicts" ticbox works?
I have a case where I'm trying to record 5 shows at the same time, with 3 available tuners.
I get an unresolved conflict on 2 of the shows, that truly have no alternate airing.
However, there are 2 other shows in that group of 5 that do have alternate airings, but their time slots were not changed. I have to manually change their time slots so I get all 5 shows.

Search the wiki for "priority". I can never remember the details of how to change it, since I only need it once every year or two, but NPVR will only look for alternate recordings for shows that have a higher priority than the other shows that are conflicting in the time slot.

Thanx for your help; got it figured out now.
Seems to work OK.
