pvr 350 no video input

ok i just got my new pvr350 and still i cant capture any video, i do autoscan using hauppauges program and nothing is found, tried using ever possible combination pal-b, antenna, cable, pal-m etc. im in nz so should be using pal-b. i cant even get svideo input. i have the latest drivers and everything else works.

my setup is celeron d330, ram 256 pc400, 40gb ata + 120 sata hdd, radeon ve 64megs.

i have no idea whats wrong, im trying everything. i thought it was the card at first and sent it back to manufacturing and they sent me a brand spanking new one, and still the same problem. tried 3 different pci slots (including first two like said in manual). tried in 3 different computers (all runing win xp, one with sp1, two with sp2).

theres nothing to conflict, software side, its a fresh install.

anyone have any ideas?

The description does sound really strange. I'm not really familiar with the hauppauge log files, so I dont really know what this error message means.

If you try running the tuning assistant that comes with GB-PVR, do you receive any popup error messages?

Does it seem to think its going through the motions? Do you see static in the preview window or it just black.

If you're seeing static, does it appear to be changing (different frequencies have a different look to them?

sub i love you! i didnt even no gbpvr had a tuning assitant, searching over and over hauppauges customer service is really crap. it works! im so happy, god i really need to get out of uni, get a job, and donate to you some money.

yeah thought i would im just so happy, was moving things around for the past 6 hours trying to get the darn thing to work. was even going to resort to trying mythtv (last resort of course).

of course i did format my machine to try and get it to work, now have to reinstall a few things, oh well it can now capture video so yay!
