I had posted an updated nrecord.exe to fix precisely this a week or so ago, but I realise that isn't particularly obvious, so you would have missed it. I'll get an updated NextPVR installer rolled out soon, to make sure everyone has what they need.

That probably explains why I could connect to my backup USB 955Q then. I haven't updated to the latest NEXTpvr on that computer.
I wished I had seen it. I tried everything with my network and firewall. Wireshark did let me see a few network errors when accessing files. Thanks Sub for the help.

I'm getting the "failed to connect , make sure NEXTpvr is running" message again same as last time before this last update. To refresh your memory you had me PM you my pin then I had to install the nrecord patch to get it running. Not sure if that is the reason again.
I'll upload my logs when I get back to the computer.
