Same has just happened to me updating, using HomeRun Dual US. Was working before the update, and the Silicon Dust software sees the devices, and can play live video from my source (Digital antenna OTA). Seem to have lost some config. Devices do not show in the NVPR Device Status window either. Set to NextPVR in the HDHomeRun Setup - may have been a different setting previously? Running Windows 8.1 64-bit.

"Does opening http://192.168.236.161 in your browser show the device's webpage? "

NO. Times out.

Yours would be a different address. That address was from his logs. Can you post your logs?

When you go to the Settings->Devices page, what are you channels set up on? ATSC/QAM devices, or the 'HDHR' devices?

Sorry, did not mean to hijack the thread - just thought it might be related to my own problems.

I am using HDHomeRun Setup 20180418, configured as Digital Antenna, using BDA NextPvr compatibility mode, since I need to record multiple shows on same frequency. No option for HDHR. QAM is disabled, as it always has been. ATSC is enabled. No device present for any of those. IPTV shows as Present & Enabled, but no channels (I don't use this), and that DOES show in the NVPR Status window. BTW, I use 2 HDHomeRun devices (show as 2 devices each).

Devices Settings in NextPVR 4.2.1 (180602) as ATSC.

Logs attached.

Thanks, Kevin

I split your posts out into a new thread, because I know it's a different issue to the original thread you tried to post in. (which related to the 'HDHR' device type, not the BDA QAM/ATSC drivers that you're using)

It looks like you don't have the SiliconDust BDA drivers on your machine any more.

Did your problem start when you updated NextPVR software, or did you update the HDHomeRun software?

Can you run filtercheck.exe from the NextPVR directory, and post the filtercheck.log it produces?

I can't run FilterCheck.exe because it uses .NET Framework 3.5 which will not install on this machine. I received FilterCheck.exe - Application Error window "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application."

Both the HDHomeRun Setup & NextPVR offered upgrades, not sure which went first. Both were previously running on Drive D; but when updated went to Drive C: (SSD), which is possibly how things went wrong. There is a NextPVR in the Program Files (x86) directory on both drives. Silicondust's directory is in Program Files directory only on C: (the SSD). There are files labelled hdhomerun_bda.x64.ax & hdhomerun_bda_x86.ax present in C:\Program Files\Silicondust\HDHomeRun

I just ran hdhomerun_checkforupdates.exe and it says it's up to date.

Try this version. Put it somewhere it can write to, like c:\temp, run filtercheck.exe, then zip and attach the filtercheck.log.

I have read that there is a problem with NextPVR Compatibility Mode ... Try using Default.
